Position: General Cleaner | Full Time

Schedule: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Location: Orlando International Airport (MCO), Orlando, FL

Pay Rate: $16.38 per hour

Position Overview:

We are looking for a reliable, dedicated General Cleaner to join our team at Orlando International Airport (MCO) in Orlando, FL. This is a consistent, stable 3rd shift position where you will play a key role in performing a variety of cleaning duties to uphold the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our airport facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize various surfaces including floors, walls, windows, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.

• Dust surfaces, furniture, and equipment thoroughly and polish surfaces to maintain a clean and attractive appearance.

• Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep and mop hard surface floors paying attention to corners and hard-to-reach areas.

• Clean and disinfect restroom fixtures including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and countertops; refill dispensers and supplies as needed.

• Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste and recyclables in designated containers.

• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities to ensure adequate stock for daily tasks.

• Assist floor technicians in floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and stripping floors as directed by supervisors.

• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.

• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.

Qualifications:

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

• Able to work overnight hours (3rd Shift).

• Able to be on your feet and physically active throughout your shift.

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred but not required.

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Background Check & Airport Security:

This position is located at Orlando International Airport (MCO). All candidates must successfully complete a background check and TSA security clearance prior to their start date. Details will be provided during the hiring process.
