Job Summary

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining and managing COFCO and client inventory, ensuring proper storage, care, organization, and presentation. This includes upkeep of the Client Experience Center and warehouse as well as the cleanliness and condition of stored product.

Responsibilities

  • Product + Inventory Management. Maintain inventory of current and discontinued COFCO and client-stored product. Store product in a safe and efficient manner to allow product to be pulled, reused, and/or sold. Perform physical inventory and monthly storage counts. Receive used and new in-bound product and assess for possible reuse. Pull and clean outbound furniture.
  • Warehouse Safety + Maintenance. Maintain company equipment to keep in working order, reporting any issues. Monitor vehicles, equipment, and supplies. Perform general maintenance and cleaning in the warehouse on a daily basis. Ensure safety and efficiency when performing all tasks and duties.
  • Furniture Handling + Field Work. Load trucks ensuring blanket wrapping and preservation of all inventory. Perform occasional furniture assembly or repair. Conduct occasional furniture deliveries, pickups, and/or site visits.
  • People + Culture Development. Perform work and engage in support of organization culture and expectations. Establish and nurture inclusive relationships with colleagues and within the team. Maintain accountability for ongoing learning and improvements required to perform job. Perform other related duties as assigned or necessary.

Qualifications – Education and Experience

Required:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in a factory or warehouse setting
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable with hand tools, pallet jacks, dollies, and light mechanical tasks
