Position Description:

Are you passionate about helping others and making a difference every day? Join our team as a Residential Treatment Assistant, where youll provide essential support to individuals served at our site. In this role, youll help ensure safety, promote positive engagement, and contribute to the therapeutic goals of the treatment team.

What Youll Do

  • Provide daily, front-line support to individuals served within the living units.
  • Help maintain a positive, therapeutic environment that supports growth and recovery.
  • Monitor activities and movement to ensure safety and accountability.
  • Assist with implementing treatment plans, education, vocational, and recreational activities.
  • Participate in group meetings to promote engagement and community.
  • Observe, document, and report behaviors related to safety and treatment goals.
  • Intervene and de-escalate conflicts when necessary, using verbal and physical techniques as trained.
  • Conduct safety inspections, contraband searches, and ensure policy compliance.
  • Support the clinical team in maintaining a secure, therapeutic milieu throughout the site.

What Were Looking For:

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

  • Direct care experience in a mental health, human services, or forensic/secure setting (preferred).

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Healthcare, human services, or mental health certifications (preferred).
