On-Call Warehouse Assistant

Great for Retirees, veterans, or college students

Our Small Parts account in the warehouse gets some orders outside of regular work hours that we need to fulfill on an as-needed basis. Arnoff is looking for an hourly employee who is reliable, has a valid driver’s license, and has a reliable car.

Location: Poughkeepsie Warehouse, between the hours of 5pm and 8am Monday – Friday, and 24/7 availability to come in if needed on Saturday/Sunday when a parts call comes in.

Requirements: Must be living within a maximum of 45 miles from the Poughkeepsie warehouse location. The parts must be picked and packed within an hour of getting the call.

Duties: This individual would be picking and packing small part orders using Arnoff

Warehouse Management System, generating the appropriate paperwork, then

Taking the order at the warehouse door for the assigned driver to collect at the

Arranged time. The on-call is typically 1-2 hours from receipt of the initial call and

On occasion, depending on the courier, you may need to wait past the two-hour

mark.

PAY: $50 stipend for just being available for the week that you are assigned as the on-call person. Even if you don’t receive any calls. !!!!

When you receive a parts call, you will get paid $25/hr Monday through Friday and $30/hr on Saturday and Sunday.
