Warehouse Associate at L & J Transportation Companies Inc – Pottstown, Pennsylvania

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist with receiving, documenting, sorting, loading, and unloading products. You will also support general warehouse operations and help maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the grounds, under the direction of Operations.

• Receive, unload and stage or store incoming inventory items appropriately.
• Inspect and document incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality and any damage or defects.
• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory records.
• Process, pick, package, and ship outgoing orders accurately.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized and safe daily.
• Assist with general grounds maintenance and upkeep, as required.
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Forklift certification or the ability to be certified.
• Ability to operate a hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift and/or move heavy products, repeatedly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Available to work extended hours, as needed.
