Certified Surgical Technologist

As a Certified Surgical Technologist at Froedtert South, you'll play a critical role in the operating room by helping surgical teams provide safe, efficient, and exceptional patient care.

You'll work side-by-side with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia professionals, and other members of the surgical team in a collaborative environment where preparation, precision, and teamwork matter.

What You'll Do

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Ensure appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and functioning.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other members of the surgical team.
• Pass instruments and supplies during procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning and preparation.
• Maintain accurate counts of instruments, needles, sponges, and other items.
• Assist with specimen handling and identification.
• Follow infection prevention and patient safety standards.
• Clean, disinfect, and prepare the operating room following procedures.
• Support turnover between surgical cases.
• Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current surgical technologist certification required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical procedures.

Pay & Benefits

$26.00 - $48.00 per hour. | Differentials available for PMs, Nights & Weekend.

Pay is based on experience.
