About This Position

  • Job Summary
    • To assist the other nursing staff in the day-to-day activities of the office in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the office. To ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
  • Regulatory Requirements

    • Must be Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the AAMA.

    • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
    • Previous experience as a medical assistant in a medical office practice is preferred.
    • Associates Degree in Medical Assisting or related degree is required.
  • Language Skills
    • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
    • Additional languages preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Skills
    • Previous experience with an EMR system is preferred.
