Medical Lab Technician (MLT) in Bolivar, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join their team.

The lab provides a fast-paced environment and requires strong team players. Each team member is expected to help in all areas of the lab, including chemistry, hematology, and serology.

A typical day includes receiving requests from physicians for laboratory tests, obtaining specimens using established laboratory techniques, calibrating, maintaining, and operating equipment necessary to perform tests, reporting test results to designated areas in a timely manner, and performing daily surveillance of test results, work records, and quality controls in the department under supervision.

This position is part-time - approx. 20 hours per week w/ day-time and evening shifts required between the hours of 10:30am-8pm.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Associates Degree and completion of a Medical Laboratory Technician program from an accredited institution
• Experience: Adequate experience to obtain ASCP or AMT certification within 6 months of hire
• Skills: Detail-oriented, teamwork, communication
• Licensure/Certification: ASCP or AMT, or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
