Great Part-Time or Per Diem Orthopaedic Outpatient Physician Assistant Opportunity – Waterbury, Connecticut

UConn Health Community Medical Network, Inc. is seeking a motivated Orthopaedic Physician Assistant to join the Bone Health Practice in Middlebury, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Waterbury Hospital’s Orthopedic fracture and trauma specialists work closely with the Bone Health Center to coordinate patients’ osteoporosis care, including acute fracture services, reconstruction, and rehabilitation. The Fracture Liaison Service identifies patients who have suffered fractures related to osteoporosis, initiates care, and coordinates ongoing treatment. The outpatient Bone Health Center provides personalized care based on bone density, laboratory testing, and comprehensive evaluations.

As one of the only Bone Health Centers in Connecticut, UConn Health/Waterbury Hospital is dedicated to ensuring high-quality post-fracture care for high-risk patients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialized team making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
