Position summary:
- The Home Health Staff Nurse is responsible for planning, providing, and directing patient care and teaching, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with patient care standards, home health regulations, and physician orders. The Home Health Staff Nurse collaborates with the patient, family, physician, other health team members including internal departments and external organizations. The Home Health Staff Nurse assesses patients for appropriate admission to home care or other services and facilitates access for treatment as appropriate. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to age groups according to specific chronological age, developmental age, and psych-social maturity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by Ohio State Board of Nursing

Required length and type of experience:- Previous experience in specific nursing area preferred.
- Experienced Registered Nurse with a minimum of one (1) years in a hospital setting. Preferred candidate will have recent experience in Home Health Care or Home Infusion or one (1) years general medical/surgical nursing.

Required licensure, certification or registry:- Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
- CPR certification required.
- ACLS preferred.
- If applicable, ACLS certification for Critical Care and Emergency Services required.
- PALS required in Emergency Services.
