  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • This position provides high quality, compassionate healthcare promoting health and wellness in our community. The diabetes clinician works directly with patients and their families to provide individual and group education and support to people with diabetes and other chronic health conditions.
  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • One of the following:
        • RN
        • Dietitian – BS or
        • Social Work – MSW
        • Exercise Physiologist - MS

    • Minimum Experience
      • N/A

    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • Licensure required by State of Alabama dependent on professional designation.
      • BLS within 90 days of DOH/Transfer
      • Exercise Physiologist must obtain certification within 90 days of hire.

    • Preferred Education
      • N/A

    • Preferred Experience
      • Two years experience in nursing, dietetics, social work, or exercise physiology, including patients with diabetes.

    • Preferred Registration/License/Certification
      • N/A

    • Other Requirements
      • N/A
