About This Position

Position Summary
- Functions in a management position, accountable for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and communicating for assigned facility. Makes decisions within the framework of the organization’s philosophies, policies, and procedures. Makes independent decisions for facility following the guidelines established by Physician Services.

Minimum Qualifications

Work Experience
- Three years of work experience in a physician practice, medical office or related healthcare field required.
- Previous management experience preferred.

Education- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field (OR) equivalent work experience required.

- Maintains the quantity and mix of personnel required to provide patient care in the facility and adheres to staffing guidelines. Develops and implements the time schedule providing adequate coverage. Develops and maintains standards of care that are unique to the facility.
- Coordinates delivery of physician services to the facility.
- Collaborates with Director, Physician Services regarding system and unit problems that require higher administrative input or approval. Develops and implements performance improvement indicators for facility and evaluates compliance on an on-going basis.
- Responds to customer needs, requests, customer satisfaction processes and 5000 calls. Identifies and resolves problems.
- Gathers information and recommends new products, forms, equipment procedures. Performs cost benefit analysis when needed.
- Reviews incident reports, initiates follow up, and evaluates response.
