Registered Nurse at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a busy Cardiology Clinic in Ruston. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, critical thinking and organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, dependability, excellent communications skills, have a solid knowledge of computers, and have the initiative to work independently. The RN will provide leadership in coordinating care for patient care in the cardiological environment. The RN will assist in preauthorization, scheduling patient procedures and surgery. The nurse will need to be organized, efficient and be able to multitask throughout the day. Duties will include but not limited to: Assessment of the patient will be done systematically utilizing professional standards of nursing practice, assisting the physician in patient care and patient response to nursing intervention on a continuous basis. She assists with all the procedures. The nurse will provide assistance with medication management and reconciliation. The office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, no weekends or holidays.
