Occupational Therapist at Crouse Hospital – Syracuse, New York

Practices occupational therapy as a occupational therapist in an acute care, medical center and also in varied outpatient settings. Works in accordance with the practice act for New York State, which includes the evaluation and treatment or the prevention of disability, injury and disease. Responsible for planning, supervising, carrying out occupational therapy treatment programs. Actively participates in and supports department quality assurance programs, education and customer service programs. Works as part of the health care team across department lines and supervises aides and other staff and performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Current New York State Occupational Therapy license. Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire or within 2 weeks after hire. Demonstrates a clear understanding of the practice act for New York State and Occupational Therapy. Demonstrates clear written and oral communications skills and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with other health care professionals, patients and caregivers. Hourly Rate Range $44.24-$58.24/hour Based on verified education and experience
