Warehouse Coordinator (Material Handler)
This is a full time position on a rotating 12-hour schedule. Days/nights will vary.

Position Summary: The position is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient operation of forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials around the facility.
Job Duties Include:
- Operates forklifts in compliance with company safety regulations and uses RF scanners for receiving, picking, staging, loading, unloading, rotation, and storage of products.
- Implements daily shipping plan.
- Manages daily flow of finished products by modifying space assignments.
- Confirms availability of product to be shipped by verifying inventory records.
- Process products coming off the production lines and placing them in correct areas.
- Document all related activities and completes forms and reports.
- Helps prepare for inventory counts.
- Ensures proper driver check-in and check-out processes in accordance with SQF standards for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Conducts daily forklift inspections and follows safe forklift operating procedures.
- Seeks out efficiencies in warehouse operations and makes recommendations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Competencies:
- Basic math skills to count products.
- Ability to become forklift certified (company provided).
- Good communication and reading skills.
- Basic computer skills to function in the WMS.
- Attention to detail.
- Critical thinking.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands: The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by employees to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee performs tasks requiring manual dexterity, to stand or sit for extended periods of time and walk extended distances. Lift 50 pounds to shoulder height. Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, fingers, with the ability to feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Continuous (6 to 10 hours per day) bending, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, reaching, lifting and grasping.
- Continuous (6 to 10 hours per day) standing and walking.
- Continuous (6 or more hours per day) talking, teaching, and repetitive motion, hand/wrist movement.
- Good eyesight, normal hearing.
- Ability to move and lift objects, frequently 75 lbs.
- Frequent (1 to 2 hours) working at a computer terminal.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position working rotating shifts. Days and hours of work will vary. Occasional overtime work will be required as job duties demand.
Travel: Travel is not required for this position.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
