Atlantic Coast Mortgage, LLC is seeking an experienced Loan Officer Assistant to work alongside a designated Loan Officer to drive a positive client experience throughout the mortgage process. This position involves supporting a team in the loan origination process as well as performing daily administrative tasks.
This position requires registration with the national Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS), as created under the federal S.A.F.E. Act.
Responsibilities:
Ensure files move through processing and closing in a timely manner
Promptly respond to client’s questions and concerns keeping them well informed of the loan process
Review and prepare client documents ensuring all paperwork is accurate
Properly prepare loan files for submission to processing
Illustrate excellent customer service skills with clients and internal partners
Perform a variety of administrative duties in support of the branch
Support the Loan Officer with scheduling, client communication, and file management
Qualifications:
At least 2 + years of mortgage experience as an LOA or processor is required
Experience with VA, Conventional, and FHA loan types
Experience with Encompass LOS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Ability to learn quickly and multitask with high attention to detail
Knowledge of loan products and compliance requirements
Aptitude to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
