REPORTS TO: CONGREGATIONAL PASTOR
RELATES CLOSELY WITH: CONGREGATIONAL STAFF TEAM, ADMIN TEAM, CENTRAL STAFF
CLASSIFICATION: PART-TIME // 25 HOURS PER WEEK
SALARY: $26.00/HR
WestGate Church, a non-denominational, multi-congregational church situated in one of the most diverse and influential regions of the world—the Silicon Valley—is seeking an energetic, skilled Campus Administrator to support the Redwood City Congregational Pastor. This part-time role (Sunday - Thursday) may require occasional work on Fridays and Saturdays as well as evening hours, providing exceptional ministry-related administrative assistance to the broader staff and church body.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 year minimum of administrative experience.
- Positive, professional, self-starter with the ability to organize, adjust, and prioritize responsibilities and projects with minimal direction.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality, handling situations with discretion, diplomacy, and tact.
- Exhibits personal and professional discernment and discretion.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Highly organized with the capability to execute logistics for large-scale projects overseen by the Congregational Pastor.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) for collaboration and document management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for effective document creation, data analysis, and presentations.
- Superior communication skills: written and verbal.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the atmosphere of the front office, copy room, kitchen, and storage areas are to WG standards (clean, well stocked, music, etc).
- Greet people in person and answer incoming phone calls/emails with professionalism and warm hospitality.
- Submit expense reports, check requests, and billing for vendors.
- Assist with maintaining church databases, event registrations, weekend metrics, newcomer follow up, etc.
- Provide planning and preparation assistance to weekend services, church activities, baptisms, classes, communion.
- Assist Congregational Pastor with the planning and execution of special events and services (Congregation Events, Easter, Christmas, etc.)
- Assist the Congregational Pastor with administrative duties.
- Manage facility calendar and scheduling of rooms.
- Coordinate with Campus Operations team and vendors when the buildings are in need of attention (cleaning or repairs).
- Work with families in scheduling and coordinating memorial services and weddings.
- Respond to facility rental requests. Manage lease agreements and fees.
- Other duties as assigned.
