This is a high-impact consulting opportunity for a finance and accounting professional with deep expertise in integration work within complex, acquisition-driven environments. In this role, you will lead end-to-end finance integration activities, ensuring seamless operational readiness for Day 1 close and a smooth transition away from transition service agreements. You will work across accounting, finance, IT, and business teams to design future-state processes, align financial systems, and support ERP cutover activities. The position requires strong technical accounting knowledge combined with hands-on project management capabilities in fast-paced, transformation-heavy environments. You will play a key role in mapping financial structures, supporting purchase price accounting, and enabling continuity across systems and reporting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex integration programs and enjoys driving structure, clarity, and execution in high-stakes financial transformations.
- Lead finance and accounting integration activities supporting mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including Day 1 legal close and transition services agreement (TSA) exit.
- Develop, manage, and execute detailed integration workplans, timelines, governance structures, and functional roadmaps across finance and accounting workstreams.
- Coordinate end-to-end accounting operations integration, including financial controls, reporting processes, and organizational alignment.
- Support ERP implementation, system cutover, and financial data migration activities across multiple platforms and environments.
- Map and align chart of accounts structures between entities to ensure accurate reporting and operational continuity.
- Coordinate purchase price accounting (PPA) activities and assist with opening balance sheet preparation and validation.
- Design and document future-state finance processes, workflows, and organizational structures aligned with integration objectives.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and issues across integration workstreams and develop mitigation strategies to ensure delivery success.
- Collaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment across systems, processes, and reporting requirements.
- Provide executive-level reporting, updates, and communication throughout the integration lifecycle to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or ERP-focused project management roles, ideally within integration or transformation programs.
- Proven hands-on experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or large-scale financial system integrations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, close processes, and internal controls.
- Experience leading ERP implementations, system migrations, or financial platform cutovers across complex environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in chart of accounts mapping, financial data migration, and reconciliation processes.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to build detailed plans, manage dependencies, and drive execution.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with strong attention to detail.
- Preferred experience with Enertia ERP and/or other enterprise ERP systems.
- Background in oil & gas, energy, or asset-intensive industries is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or PMP are considered an advantage.
Benefits:
- Opportunity to contribute to high-impact finance transformation and integration programs.
- Fully remote work within the United States.
- Exposure to complex ERP environments and large-scale M&A integration initiatives.
- Collaborative consulting culture with strong emphasis on autonomy and accountability.
- Career development opportunities within a dynamic, project-driven environment.
- Ability to work on strategically significant financial systems and organizational transformations.
- Supportive team environment focused on knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Competitive consulting experience with varied and challenging client engagements.
