Position Summary
As Cocktail Prep at Moneygun, you will play a key role in ensuring the consistency and quality of our bar programs. This part-time position is responsible for preparing cocktail components, maintaining a clean and organized prep space, and supporting inventory. Acting as a bridge between front and back-of-house bar teams, you’ll contribute to smooth bar operations, with the potential to assist with commissary prep at our sister properties as needed.
This role is scheduled for Thursdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, averaging 15–20 hours per week.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Fill out the count sheet at the start of each week to assess prep needs
- Prepare all cocktail program components including juices, syrups, garnishes, and batches
- Label, date, and initial all perishable items accurately
- Assist with receiving, unboxing, stocking, and organizing liquor deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all beverage prep areas
- Check freshness of ingredients and rotate stock accordingly
- Communicate with management on par adjustments due to overages or shortages
- Recommend updates to prep sheets for improved efficiency
- As needed, assist kitchen team with stocking deliveries
About You:
- You have at least 1–2 years of experience with cocktail prep or a similar back-of-house bar support role
- You have a strong understanding of flavor, balance, and beverage ingredients
- You’re detail-oriented and reliable, with a self-starting work ethic
- You enjoy working behind the scenes and supporting a high-functioning team
- You bring a positive attitude and clear communication to every shift
- You’re able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and handling deliveries in a prep environment
