CNA/LPN Assistant
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday- Friday (9am-5pm), 40 hours a week.

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable CNA/LPN assistant to join our team.
This position provides administrative support to the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) while helping coordinate medical care for individuals receiving services. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working with people, and has excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
* Transport participants safely to and from medical appointments. Will use company vehicle and may have to use personal vehicle if company vehicle isn't available. Mileage reimbursement will be given if personal vehicle is used.
* Schedule and coordinate physician and specialist appointments.
* Complete weekly weights of participants.
* Upkeep medication carts at all group homes.
* Check on participants if LPN is unavailable.
* Communicate appointment dates, times, and instructions to direct care staff.
* Maintain and organize participant medical records and filing systems.
* Assist the LPN with administrative tasks and documentation.
* Obtain and organize medical paperwork from healthcare providers.
* Ensure medical appointments and follow-up recommendations are communicated appropriately.
* Maintain confidentiality of participant health information in accordance with HIPPA regulations.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support the nursing department.
Qualifications:
* Current CNA certification or relevant healthcare experience.
* Valid NC driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Proficiency with computers.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
