Prepare ingredients for cooking by washing, peeling, chopping, portioning, and properly storing food products. Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients according to established recipes and production guidelines. Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipe specifications, quality standards, presentation requirements, and food preparation checklists. Prepare cold food items and assist with the production of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquet offerings as needed. Safely operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. Monitor cooking processes and test foods to ensure proper preparation, quality, and temperature standards are met. Maintain consistent food quality and presentation throughout food preparation and service periods. Set up, stock, and break down workstations to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Plate and serve food in appropriate portions using proper service ware and presentation standards. Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, worktables, utensils, knives, and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Verify and document food and equipment temperatures to ensure compliance with food safety standards. Follow all company, local, and state health, sanitation, and safety regulations. Support a clean, organized, and team-oriented work environment while delivering exceptional service to hotel guests.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
