Fortuna Cysec Inc. is a fast-growing cybersecurity and managed security provider helping organizations strengthen their security posture, reduce operational risk, and simplify security operations.

Through our Fortunox platform and managed cybersecurity services, Fortuna delivers Managed Detection & Response (MDR), Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), security operations, compliance support, and strategic advisory services to SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise organizations.

We are looking for a motivated sales professional who wants to build a career in cybersecurity sales and develop into a full-cycle sales executive.

Requirements:

The Regional Sales Associate will focus initially on developing new business opportunities across an assigned territory through targeted prospecting, relationship development, and events.

This is a developmental sales role designed to progress into a full-cycle Regional Sales Representative position.

You will work directly with experienced Fortuna sales leadership through a guided mentorship program designed to progressively build your skills in:

Prospecting ? Qualification ? Discovery ? Solution Positioning ? Proposal Development ? Negotiation ? Close

Early success in the role will be measured primarily by your ability to identify the right organizations, engage decision-makers, uncover potential business problems, and create qualified sales opportunities.

You will participate in and eventually lead discovery meetings, presentations, solution discussions, proposals, and customer negotiations as your experience grows,.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective customers within the Southeast territory.
  • Build targeted account and contact lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM, prospecting tools, industry research, and other available resources.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, events, referrals, and partner relationships.
  • Develop relationships with IT, security, operational, and executive decision-makers.
  • Learn to identify business problems and trigger events that create urgency around cybersecurity.
  • Qualify opportunities before advancing them into the sales pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate account, contact, activity, and opportunity information in HubSpot.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, webinars, and networking opportunities.
  • Work alongside senior sales leadership during customer discovery and solution meetings.
  • Learn to position Fortuna's MDR, CTEM, and broader cybersecurity capabilities around customer problems and desired outcomes.
  • Progressively take responsibility for discovery meetings, demonstrations, presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Work with technical, delivery, marketing, and leadership teams throughout the sales process.
  • Build knowledge of cybersecurity trends, customer challenges, competitive offerings, and regulatory drivers.
  • Develop toward independently managing a territory and owning the full customer sales cycle.

Guided Sales Development Program

This role includes structured mentoring from Fortuna sales leadership.

Stage 1 — Build the Pipeline

Develop proficiency in:

  • Account research
  • Identifying the right buyers
  • Prospecting
  • Messaging
  • Cold calling
  • LinkedIn outreach
  • CRM discipline
  • Initial qualification

Stage 2 — Develop Opportunities

Begin participating in and eventually leading:

  • Discovery conversations
  • Business-problem identification
  • Opportunity qualification
  • Customer follow-up
  • Solution positioning
  • Product demonstrations

Stage 3 — Become a Full-Cycle Seller

Develop the ability to independently:

  • Manage qualified opportunities
  • Conduct executive-level discovery
  • Build business cases
  • Present solutions
  • Develop proposals
  • Navigate objections
  • Negotiate agreements
  • Close new customers
  • Manage a regional territory

The objective is to develop into a successful full-cycle cybersecurity sales professional.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of B2B sales, business development, account development, or similar customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in developing a career in cybersecurity or technology sales.
  • Comfortable prospecting and initiating conversations with people you do not already know.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Curious and willing to ask questions and learn complex concepts.
  • Organized and disciplined with follow-up.
  • Comfortable using CRM and sales-prospecting technologies.
  • Ability to accept coaching and apply feedback.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel when business opportunities justify it.

Helpful, But Not Required

  • Previous cybersecurity, IT, SaaS, MSP, or technology experience.
  • Familiarity with MDR, SOC, endpoint security, vulnerability management, or cybersecurity concepts.
  • Experience with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or similar sales tools.
  • Experience selling into healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.

Deep cybersecurity expertise is not required on day one. We are looking for someone with the aptitude, work ethic, curiosity, and sales fundamentals to learn it.
