Are you a clinical leader passionate about mental health and well-being in the legal profession?

The Illinois Lawyers' Assistance Program (ILAP) is currently seeking a dedicated Deputy Director to join our team in Chicago, IL (Hybrid).

In this vital role, you will report directly to the Executive Director and oversee the day-to-day clinical, operational, and administrative functions of the organization. You will be instrumental in advancing ILAP's mission of supporting Illinois lawyers, judges, and law students who are navigating mental health, substance use, or other well-being challenges.

What You Will Do:

• Provide leadership and oversight for all clinical services to ensure the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based care.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Director on organizational planning, goal setting, and strategic initiatives.
• Deliver direct client services, including triaging calls, conducting assessments, and providing short-term counseling.
• Monitor organizational metrics, analyze outcomes, and manage IT vendor relationships to support efficient operations.
• Engage in community outreach by delivering educational presentations and building relationships with bar associations.

What We Are Looking For:

• Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field.
• An active, current Illinois clinical license (LCPC, LCSW, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent).
• A minimum of seven (7) years of clinical experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment.
• At least three (3) years of supervisory or management experience.
