This is a senior enterprise sales role focused on driving new business and sustainable revenue growth across the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector.
You’ll build a targeted portfolio from the ground up, developing relationships with providers, payers, medical device, and biopharma organizations.
The role combines consultative selling, executive engagement, solution development, and strategic account planning.
You’ll help clients address complex business challenges through technology, consulting, marketing, and AI-enabled transformation capabilities.
Success requires a strong hunter mentality, commercial discipline, and the ability to build credibility with C-suite stakeholders.
You’ll collaborate closely with sales development, client partnerships, delivery, pursuits, and industry leadership teams.
This is a highly autonomous, remote position with significant client-facing activity and approximately 25–40% travel across the U.S.
- Build and own a portfolio of enterprise Healthcare and Life Sciences accounts, with direct accountability for new-logo acquisition, revenue growth, pipeline development, and client outcomes.
- Identify, prioritize, prospect, and develop target accounts rather than relying on an inherited book of business.
- Lead the full enterprise sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution development, pitching, negotiation, contracting, and closing.
- Partner with Sales Development Representatives to generate qualified opportunities and establish relationships with new enterprise clients.
- Develop detailed account strategies, opportunity plans, pipeline strategies, and multi-year growth plans for priority accounts.
- Engage senior and C-suite stakeholders in strategic conversations around industry trends, business transformation, technology, AI, and operational challenges.
- Shape tailored solutions in collaboration with industry leadership, practice leaders, pursuits, and delivery teams, aligning capabilities with client priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Partner with Client Partners to expand and deepen relationships after new accounts are established, increasing total account value over time.
- Develop and position industry solutions combining technology, marketing, management consulting, and AI capabilities to address challenges across healthcare and life sciences.
- Negotiate complex service agreements with enterprise procurement and legal teams while protecting commercial objectives and client value.
- Maintain rigorous pipeline, account intelligence, forecasting, and sales activity discipline to support accurate business planning.
- Build strong executive networks and cultivate advocates and sponsors within strategic accounts.
- Displace incumbent providers and identify opportunities to introduce additional capabilities as client relationships mature.
- Contribute to sales best-practice sharing, win/loss reviews, team rituals, and mentoring of newer team members.
- Exercise independent judgment in client engagements, sales negotiations, and solution development while maintaining a strong focus on measurable business outcomes.
- Work toward an annualized $3.5M gross sales target after an initial 9–12 month portfolio ramp.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7–10+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, enterprise account management, solution selling, or a related field; experience at a leading consulting firm is highly desirable.
- Significant experience selling service-oriented or outcome-based solutions within Healthcare and Life Sciences, ideally across one or more of the provider, medical device, biopharma, or payer segments.
- Demonstrated ability to build a book of business from the ground up through self-sourcing, prospecting, networking, and new enterprise relationship development.
- Proven success managing an annualized $5M+ gross portfolio and closing complex, multi-phase enterprise deals of $250K+, preferably with organizations generating $2B+ in annual revenue.
- Strong consultative sales experience and the ability to translate complex client challenges into compelling business solutions.
- Comfortable engaging C-level executives and discussing healthcare and life sciences trends, transformation priorities, and emerging technologies.
- Strong understanding of how AI is reshaping care delivery, therapeutic development, healthcare financing, and operating models, with the ability to connect these trends to relevant technology and consulting solutions.
- Experience developing and executing account plans that produce consistent portfolio growth and a healthy sales pipeline.
- Proven ability to lead collaborative sales pursuits involving multidisciplinary internal teams.
- Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements with enterprise procurement and legal departments.
- Exposure to hybrid talent models, alternative consulting models, or technology-enabled professional services is advantageous.
- Strong strategic thinking, entrepreneurial drive, intellectual curiosity, resilience, and willingness to tackle ambiguous challenges.
- Outstanding written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, delivery, consulting, technology, and leadership functions.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision while managing priorities, deadlines, and a broad network of stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25–40% for client meetings, conferences, and team events.
- Strong self-management skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving remote environment.
- A hands-on, individual-contributor mindset with the ability to personally drive opportunities from initial prospecting through close.
- Remote work within the United States.
- Base salary plus monthly commission opportunities tied to revenue generated from engagements sold.
- Compensation determined based on work location, relevant skills, experience, education, and training.
- 401(k) retirement plan.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Basic life insurance.
- Short- and long-term disability coverage.
- Access to flexible spending, dependent care, and health savings accounts.
- Telehealth/virtual healthcare services.
- Employee assistance program.
- Flexible paid time off.
- Significant opportunities to build executive relationships and develop deep expertise within the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector.
- Opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams on technology, consulting, marketing, and AI-enabled transformation initiatives.
- High-autonomy environment designed for entrepreneurial, high-performing sales professionals.
