Virtual Member Support Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Virtual Member Support Specialist based in United States.

This is a fully remote opportunity focused on delivering exceptional support to members and clients.
You’ll serve as a trusted point of contact, answering questions and helping people understand their available benefits and services.
The role combines customer service, relationship building, problem-solving, and clear communication.
You’ll interact with clients virtually, support enrollment activities, and ensure a smooth and professional experience.
No prior insurance experience is required, with structured training, coaching, and mentorship provided.
The environment is collaborative and designed to support professional development and long-term career growth.

Accountabilities:
  • Connect with clients virtually through Zoom and other online platforms to provide responsive, professional member support.
  • Answer questions about available benefits, services, and coverage options, explaining information clearly and accurately.
  • Guide clients through enrollment processes, applications, and required documentation.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships through attentive communication, professionalism, and personalized service.
  • Maintain accurate client records and complete timely follow-up communications.
  • Resolve member concerns efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer experience.
  • Collaborate with remote teammates to ensure consistent, seamless support throughout the client journey.
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development programs to strengthen customer service and communication capabilities.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and build rapport with a diverse range of clients.
  • Strong customer service, relationship-building, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Positive, professional, service-oriented attitude with a genuine willingness to help others.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay organized in a fully remote environment.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Coachability, initiative, and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Previous experience in customer service, call center support, retail, hospitality, healthcare, administrative support, client relations, or account management is beneficial but not required.
  • No prior insurance experience is necessary; comprehensive training and mentorship are provided.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must have access to a computer or laptop, reliable high-speed internet, webcam and microphone capabilities, and a quiet, professional workspace.
