As a Traveling Superintendent, you'll get the hands-on training to manage multiple projects at once, along with the autonomy to run your schedule your way. This is a field leadership role (not a desk job) where you'll own execution and crew leadership on-site while building the skills to keep growing your career.

- Company Vehicle + Gas Card: You're traveling to get the job done; we cover how you get there
- Paid Time Off
- 401(k)
- Safety-First Culture: Safety Equipment & Uniforms Provided
- Real Growth Paths: Foreman → Superintendent → Project Manager → Branch Manager. We promote from within and mean it
- Hands-On Training: structured development to help you manage multiple projects and grow your career
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Overseeing day-to-day field operations on-site, keeping crews safe, on schedule, and working efficiently
- Managing multiple traveling project assignments at once, coordinating priorities across job sites
- Leading, scheduling, and mentoring field crews, including training team members as you go
- Partnering with Project Managers on budgets, change orders, and customer communication, while owning execution in the field
- Coordinating permits, inspections, and code compliance on-site
- Leading quality and safety inspections throughout the life of each project
- Championing a strong safety culture- reporting incidents and near misses promptly and holding your team accountable
- Maintaining parts, tools, and equipment inventory for your projects
- Traveling nationally to job sites as assignments require, working out of our Sterling branch between trips
- Performing hands-on field work and installations, including working with live electricity, as needed
- Resolving jobsite personnel and customer conflicts proactively and professionally
- Ensuring all crew members hold current safety certifications
- Building lasting relationships with customers, vendors, and site partners
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
- Current experience as a Foreman in electrical construction, ready to take the next step in your career
- Proven ability to lead crews and run day-to-day operations on a job site
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally (we're licensed in 49 states)
- Based in metro Detroit, with the ability to work out of our Sterling branch when not traveling
- A safety-first mindset and comfort working around live electrical systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Current trade skills/licenses relevant to electrical construction, and a commitment to keeping them up to date
- Valid driver's license
Nice to have:
- Some exposure to project management fundamentals (budgets, change orders, scheduling), this is a field-focused leadership role, not a Project Manager position, but PM-adjacent skills are a plus
- Experience running crews across multiple simultaneous job sites
- NFPA 70E / electrical safety compliance familiarity
If you're a foreman who's ready to trade the day-to-day grind for more flexibility, more autonomy, and a clear next step in your career, we want to hear from you!
