Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that support production schedules, inventory requirements, and company objectives
- Source raw materials, components, and manufacturing supplies while negotiating pricing, lead times, and supplier agreements
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, product quality, and cost efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels and analyze purchasing trends to prevent shortages, production delays, and excess inventory
- Coordinate purchasing activities with production, engineering, warehouse, and logistics teams to support manufacturing operations
- Utilize ERP, MRP, SAP, and Oracle EBS systems to manage purchasing data, inventory tracking, and procurement reporting
- Review supplier performance, resolve delivery or quality issues, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Analyze market conditions, pricing trends, and sourcing opportunities to support cost savings initiatives
- Ensure compliance with procurement procedures, purchasing policies, and company standards
- Assist with inventory audits, reporting, forecasting, and material planning activities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, inventory control, or manufacturing operations
- Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems
- Experience with SAP and Oracle EBS preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Local candidates preferred
