Support Engineer, SAP CO-PCA in Brazil, Indiana at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Support Engineer, SAP CO-PA based in Brazil.

This role sits within a global SAP application support environment focused on delivering high-quality, mission-critical assistance for complex Controlling and Profitability Analysis processes.
You will work on supporting and enhancing SAP CO-PA and related CO modules across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes, ensuring accurate cost flows and financial transparency.
The position combines deep functional expertise with hands-on technical troubleshooting, including root cause analysis and issue resolution across integrated SAP modules.
You will collaborate closely with international clients, finance teams, and cross-functional SAP experts in a fast-paced AMS setting.
The environment requires strong analytical thinking, precision, and the ability to operate in SLA-driven, 24x7 global support structures.
You will also contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and stabilization of complex manufacturing and finance processes.

• Provide L3 support for SAP CO-PA and related Controlling processes by analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex incidents, service requests, and enhancement tickets within SLA timelines.
• Perform detailed root cause analysis of production issues, including cost flow discrepancies, allocation errors, and profitability reporting inconsistencies across integrated SAP modules.
• Support end-to-end financial processes including Product Costing, cost center accounting, internal orders, settlements, and period-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, and cross-functional SAP teams (FI, MM, PP) to replicate issues, define solutions, and validate fixes through testing cycles.
• Participate in enhancements, small projects, and change requests, including requirement gathering, functional design, development support, testing, and deployment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, documentation, knowledge sharing, and monitoring of production environments using ITIL-aligned practices.

• 5 to 9 years of SAP CO experience with strong hands-on expertise in CO-PA, Product Costing (CO-PC), and core Controlling processes.
• Deep knowledge of cost center accounting, internal orders, settlements, allocations, variance analysis, and profitability reporting in manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA, including integration with FI, MM, and PP modules.
• Strong understanding of cost flows across production, inventory, and financial accounting, including material cost estimates and overhead calculations.
• Proven experience in L3 support, incident management, and working in SLA-driven AMS or global support environments.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with excellent communication in English and Portuguese.
