This role is a hands-on technical support position focused on ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of complex SAP landscapes across global enterprise environments. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving critical issues across SAP technologies such as ECC, NetWeaver, PI, and HANA, working closely with clients to maintain business continuity. The position combines deep technical troubleshooting with customer-facing support, requiring strong expertise in SAP architecture, integration, and infrastructure components. You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality fixes, scripts, and system improvements in highly customized environments. Operating within a 24x7 global support model, you will collaborate with distributed teams to resolve incidents efficiently and share best practices. This is a highly technical, problem-solving-driven role ideal for professionals looking to deepen their SAP Basis expertise in enterprise-scale systems.
- Provide advanced SAP Basis support by diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues across SAP landscapes including ECC, NetWeaver, PI, and HANA.
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand issues, provide technical guidance, and ensure high-quality support delivery.
- Develop and implement application fixes, scripts, and corrective solutions for system defects and data issues.
- Support configuration, administration, and troubleshooting across SAP environments, including integration and infrastructure components.
- Manage assigned client accounts as a technical advisor, ensuring consistent and proactive support engagement.
- Work with SAP transport tools (including CTS+) and support system change and deployment activities.
- Contribute to system maintenance activities including patching, upgrades, backup, and recovery processes.
- Participate in a 24x7 global support environment, ensuring timely response and resolution of critical incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve knowledge sharing, diagnostic tools, and support methodologies.
- 2–3 years of experience in SAP Basis or SAP technical support roles, including exposure to ECC, NetWeaver, or related SAP technologies.
- Hands-on experience supporting SAP systems in enterprise environments, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of operating systems such as Linux, Windows, or AIX and databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or MaxDB.
- Understanding of SAP architecture, system maintenance, patching, and transport management processes.
- Experience with SAP NetWeaver components, J2EE administration, and portal environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with integration, single sign-on (SSO), and security configurations (e.g., SSL, LDAP).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and support 24x7 operations when required.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Portuguese, with strong client interaction capabilities.
- SAP certification(s) and experience in implementation or upgrade projects are a plus.
