Job Title: Dimensional Inspector — Aerospace Manufacturing
Pay Range: $25.00 – $40.00+ per hour (DOE & Skill Level)
Hiring Bonus: $1500 to $5000 (DOE)
Location: Sumner Wa
Shift: Day
Employment Type: Full-Time

Sign-On Bonus Details

Bonus payout schedule:

50% paid on first paycheck

Remaining 50% paid after 90 days of continuous employment

Overview

We are seeking a fully qualified Dimensional Inspector to support aerospace manufacturing operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring parts meet blueprint, specification, and quality requirements prior to shipment and throughout production.

The Dimensional Inspector partners closely with Manufacturing and Engineering to validate product conformity, troubleshoot dimensional issues, and support process improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities may include:

Perform complete dimensional measurement of aerospace components

Conduct surface plate layout inspections

Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)

Develop and edit CMM programs

Document and record measurement results accurately

Perform full first-part, first-article, and in-process inspections

Interpret complex aerospace blueprints and specifications

Utilize PCM/Mylar and advanced layout techniques

Troubleshoot dimensional issues in collaboration with Manufacturing

Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts

Ensure compliance with quality standards, documentation requirements, and customer specifications

Skill Level & Pay

Dimensional Inspector: $25–$40+/hr + sign-on bonus (DOE)

Required Qualifications

3+ years of dimensional inspection experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing

Advanced blueprint reading and specification interpretation

Proficiency using manual test and measurement equipment

Strong surface plate layout experience

CMM operation and programming experience

Understanding of document authority and order of precedence

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and process capability

Strong critical thinking and root-cause analysis skills

High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
