This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Wholesale Trade & Commercial Sales professional based in India.
This role offers an opportunity to bring deep expertise in wholesale trade, distribution, and B2B commercial sales into a cutting-edge AI benchmarking initiative focused on real-world Indian commercial ecosystems. You will help design and evaluate realistic scenarios that reflect the complexity of distributor networks, client relationships, order flows, and sales operations. The work spans account management, procurement coordination, negotiation, and technical or non-technical sales interactions. You will ensure AI systems accurately interpret how wholesale and distribution businesses operate in practice. Working in a highly analytical and industry-focused environment, you will collaborate with global experts to improve AI understanding of commercial trade dynamics. Your contributions will directly shape how AI engages with wholesale and B2B sales contexts.
- Design realistic wholesale trade and commercial sales scenarios in Odia or English based on Indian distribution and B2B environments, including order processing, distributor coordination, inventory management, and client negotiations.
- Adapt structured evaluation rubrics to assess commercial problem-solving, sales effectiveness, customer communication, and order management workflows.
- Review AI-generated and human-generated outputs for factual accuracy, commercial relevance, operational realism, and customer service quality.
- Contribute to the development of “gold standard” solutions reflecting best practices in wholesale trade, distribution networks, and B2B sales operations.
- Ensure scenarios accurately reflect real-world wholesale workflows, distributor relationships, and Indian commercial trade practices.
- Native-level proficiency in Odia with strong professional proficiency in English.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in wholesale trade, distribution, commercial sales, account management, or B2B operations.
- Background in roles such as sales management, order management, distributor relations, technical or non-technical sales, client account management, or commercial operations.
- Strong understanding of wholesale distribution systems, sales processes, customer relationship management, and Indian trade environments.
- Ability to translate real-world commercial and sales experience into structured, analytical, and evaluative content.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to operational detail.
