Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Community Outreach Representative to join our growing Event Marketing and Fundraising team. This entry-level position focuses on increasing community awareness, building relationships with supporters, and promoting nonprofit initiatives through direct engagement. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a positive impact, enjoys interacting with people, and is eager to develop professional communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with community members to raise awareness for nonprofit partners and fundraising campaigns.
  • Represent clients and charitable organizations at outreach events and promotional campaigns.
  • Educate the public about organizational missions, programs, and community impact initiatives.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with supporters, donors, and community stakeholders.
  • Answer questions and provide accurate information regarding fundraising efforts and campaign goals.
  • Assist with community engagement and donor acquisition initiatives.
  • Track outreach interactions and maintain accurate records of engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve campaign objectives and outreach goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs focused on communication, fundraising, and leadership development.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, or community engagement experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
