Behavioral Health Post Doc Psychology Fellow - One Year Assignment

In this role you will:
- Provide comprehensive bio-psycho-social diagnostic assessment at intake and at any point needed throughout the therapeutic treatment.
- Provide psychotherapeutic treatments; be well versed in at least two treatment modalities.
- Use a team-oriented approach with special emphasis on communication and coordination of care.
- Create patient centered treatment plans, provide ongoing treatment, provide case management services, and assess patient’s ongoing clinic needs and progress
- Incorporate feedback from supervision to improve clinical skills and performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Practicum and Internship experience in the diagnosis and treatment of those problems specific to mentally ill patients manifesting a wide spectrum of illnesses and symptoms.
- Practicum and Internship experience consulting and/or collaborating with the various agencies that provide care for mentally ill patients.
- Completion and graduation from an accredited graduate program that grants a degree that allows psychologist to practice under supervision as a psychologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Doctoral degree, with commensurate practicum and internship which focused on clinical mental health practice.
- Quality training in psychotherapeutic techniques. Psychologist must be trained in treating patients with a range of mental illness and different levels of functioning.
