Job Title: Surgery Scheduling Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Surgery Scheduling Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the scheduling of surgical procedures, ensuring efficient use of resources, and providing excellent customer service to patients and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Schedule surgical procedures in accordance with physician availability and patient needs.

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding surgery details and preparation.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of surgical schedules and patient information.

- Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize scheduling and resource allocation.

- Address and resolve scheduling conflicts and patient inquiries in a timely manner.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to surgical scheduling.

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.

- Previous experience in a medical or surgical scheduling role preferred.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Requires regular and predictable attendance.
