Job Description

Responsibilities

The Supervisor, Non-Invasive Cardiovascular is responsible for planning, organizing, delegating, coordinating and managing the daily operation in the Non-Invasive Cardiovascular department to ensure quality services are provided according to established policies and procedures. Other responsibilities include staff productivity, assisting the manager with the development, interpretation and implementation of budgets and long-range plans for efficient operations and technology. This position is accountable for the accomplishment of results and the achievement of objectives, consistent with the hospital mission, values and operational and strategic plans and will work closely with the Cardiology Director (Invasive and Non-Invasive), Manager, Medical Director and physicians that provide services within the department.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Three years as a technologist (echo or non-invasive vascular)
  • Associate Degree
  • One of: RVS or RVT or ARRT (VS) OR RCS or RDCS-AE If hold RDCS-AE, must obtain RDCS-PE

Desired:
  • One year as a lead technologist
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Registered Vascular Specialist OR Registered Vascular Technologist OR Vascular Sonography Technologist OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (AE) OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (PE)
