Summary/Objective
The T2W Placement Specialist is responsible for matching our clients’ injured workers with appropriate light duty job tasks available at the nonprofit organization, and offering exceptional customer service to our nonprofit partners, injured worker participants, and clients.
Essential Functions
- Champion ReEmployAbility's Transition2Work program to strategically identify the best nonprofit organization to place injured workers in order to continue partnerships and establish new relationships with nonprofit organizations, seeking a win-win-win for our clients, injured workers, and nonprofit partners.
- Effectively communicate the details of the Transition2Work program to new nonprofit partners and work with our current nonprofit network to ensure the availability of suitable job responsibilities.
- Review new Transition2Work worker’s compensation and non-occupational disability referrals to locate an appropriate light duty assignment within an injured worker’s provided restrictions.
- Follow all client directives and jurisdictional requirements to provide a successful light duty volunteer assignment experience for all parties, within current company objectives.
- Meet a quota of quality, safe placements per month.
- Develop outreach and retention strategies for nonprofit relationships.
- Communicate placement barriers to clients to strategize next steps.
- Work in collaboration with other teams within Service as well as the Sales Department.
- Escalate issues to the Director of Service Operations, as appropriate.

Required Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; however, exceptional/relevant experience will be considered.

Individuals are required to sit for an extended period of time, stand, walk, talk and hear, use hands and fingers, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. May also occasionally need to lift or move 0-15 pounds. Specific vision skills for computer usage and written document reading.
