- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for underwriting, aligning business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
- Drive end-to-end product discovery, including customer research, market analysis, and competitive intelligence to identify high-impact opportunities.
- Build and maintain a rigorous, well-groomed backlog while ensuring engineering readiness and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Define and track key success metrics, building data-driven feedback loops to evaluate product performance and inform iteration.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Operations, and cross-functional leaders to deliver scalable, AI-enabled underwriting solutions.
- Develop compelling business cases and influence senior stakeholders, including executive leadership and external carrier partners.
- Establish product management best practices, frameworks, and operating models that elevate team performance and consistency.
- Champion the adoption of AI-native workflows across the product organization, embedding modern tools into discovery, synthesis, and delivery processes.
- 10+ years of product management experience, including at least 5 years leading and developing product teams in a senior or director-level capacity.
- Direct experience in underwriting, insurance, or related domains such as carrier, reinsurer, or insurtech environments.
- Proven track record of owning and scaling complex product areas from strategy through execution in regulated or enterprise settings.
- Strong expertise in product discovery, customer research, and translating insights into clear product direction and execution plans.
- Deep analytical skills with experience defining key metrics, driving experimentation, and making data-informed decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior stakeholders, including executives and enterprise customers.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries such as insurance or financial services is strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Familiarity with AI tools and a strong interest in shaping AI-native product management practices.
- Competitive base salary with equity-based compensation.
- Flexible remote work policy across the United States.
- Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision with 100% premium options.
- Flexible paid time off and parental leave supporting work-life balance.
- Lifestyle stipend supporting physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing.
- Opportunity to lead and shape a high-impact product domain in a rapidly evolving AI-driven industry.
- Strong culture of innovation, ownership, and professional growth within a mission-driven environment.
