Job Description
Miller Edge, Inc. is seeking a Entry Level Production Assembler to assemble fabricated parts and components using hand and power tools according to standard work instructions and product specifications. This entry-level role works under close supervision and is ideal for individuals with 0–1 year of experience seeking a career in manufacturing.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for quality of product built utilizing Standard Work Instructions.
- Ensure that all quality-related problem(s) or product non-conformities are captured, corrected and reported to supervisor/manager.
- Ensure that all work assignments are completed within specified job cycle times.
- Maintain raw material supply to production line by following guidelines on material requisition procedure and communicate material shortages and/or defects to supervisors/manager in a timely manner.
- Utilize touch screen computer equipment to move product through production process
- Utilize outlook and company email address to send and receive work related matters.
- Maintain safety standards according to Miller Edge Health & Safety Regulations.
- Promote and maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout plant.
- Cross train on different production lines; provide assistance and back up to shipping and receiving areas; and, provide on-the-job training to new or existing employees.
- Assist maintenance personnel during repair and maintenance of equipment; perform preventative maintenance activities (PMs) as needed; and, follow best housekeeping practices such as 5-S and other lean manufacturing activities.
- Perform as a back-up in different departments throughout plant.
- Other duties and tasks may be assigned in the support of the manufacturing process.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 0–1 year of general or manufacturing experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing and repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment and varying temperatures
