HR Associate (Entry-Level)

Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview):
Spry Methods is seeking an entry level Human Resources Associate to support the organization with daily functions of the Human Resource department.
This entry-level HR associate position provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development within the HR field. The successful candidate will gain valuable hands-on experience and exposure to various HR functions.
What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):
  • Coordinate new hire on-boarding activities, including paperwork, background checks, orientation sessions, and training schedules.
  • Conduct or assists with new hire orientation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. File appropriately.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This will include our annual compliance training and Education Assistance Program.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, directing them to the appropriate HR personnel or service department.
  • Support the resolution of minor employee relations issues under the guidance of HR managers.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and ensure timely processing of benefit-related documentation.
  • Support the HR department with Annual Open Enrollment process.
  • Assist in the performance management process, including the coordination of performance reviews and feedback sessions.
  • Stay informed about employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in HR practices.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft products and SharePoint
  • Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to a dynamic HR environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadline.
Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or Business (Human Resources certification or other specialized training may be substituted)
  • Previous experience with HR Technology (preferred - ADP TotalSource)
