Position Title: Operations Management Analyst

Dynamis, Inc. is hiring an experienced operations and program support professional to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS), one of the nation's premier federal law enforcement and facility security agencies. Our team provides direct support to FPS's dynamic, mission-critical operations spanning daily workflow management, training and compliance, policy and SharePoint administration, and operational reporting across a nationwide footprint. You'll work alongside FPS leadership, regional personnel, and key stakeholders to improve operational efficiency, strengthen compliance with DHS and FPS requirements, and advance the agency's mission objectives. This is high-visibility work at the intersection of federal operations, program management, and homeland security where your expertise shapes how FPS runs, adapts, and serves the nation.


The Operations Management Analyst keeps FPS's operations running smoothly and its programs performing at a high level. You'll manage daily workflows, support training and compliance activities, maintain policies and SharePoint systems, and develop the reports, briefings, and operational documentation that leadership relies on to make decisions. You'll track operational metrics, support leadership briefings, coordinate training, and drive process improvements that boost program effectiveness and organizational performance. Responsibilities:

  • Daily management of Protective Security Officer reporting.
  • Monitor and respond to the PSO inbox on a timely basis.
  • Review documents for PSO Basic Training Examination.
  • Provide PSO Basic Training Examination to Regional POC.
  • Grade examinations and provide results to Regional POC.
  • Maintain the tracking of PSO Basic Training Examinations scores on the database.
  • Assist PSOD personnel with on-site and webinar training to inspectors, Protective Security Operations Officers (PSOO), Contracting Officers Representatives (CORs), etc.
  • Assist PSOD with updating and management of current national directives and FPS Policies.
  • Assist PSOD with data for the monthly and quarterly team briefings to the FPS Director and Assistant Directors for Field Operations (ADFOs).
  • Lead the development, sustainment, and updating of SharePoint site.
  • Maintain the names of personnel who have access to the SharePoint site.
  • Produce reports, flowcharts, and slide decks for meetings with Regional Personnel.
  • Assist with the development of official memorandums.
  • Assist the Covert Testing Program, as needed.
  • Assist Compliance Program Manager with updating results from LEIMS relating to Post Inspections/Post Visits resolutions from Regions.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Prepare and assist development of policy documents.
  • Prepare, edit, and assemble reports required for meetings and presentations.
  • Work effectively with other branches and divisions within the organization to accomplish tasks.
  • Assist, as needed, with special projects.
  • Obtain necessary information from appropriate source(s) to complete assigned tasks and share information with others as needed.
  • Oversee the development, revision, and preparation of training materials.
  • Oversee the development and editing of regularly scheduled status reports, as requested by the Government Task Manager.
  • Complete other ad hoc assignments, as determined.
Requirements:
  • A minimum education requirement of a bachelors degree
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in project or program management, or; related work with a minimum of five of the eight years in conducting analytical and support activities related to task area.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data.
  • Ability to read and interpret management policy, regulations, and directives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 or higher to include Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read and interpret management policy, regulations, and directives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 or higher, including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications such as SharePoint, MS Teams, D2D, UPS CampusShip, and ERETA.
  • Experience with managing emails, coordinating with various stakeholders, and monitoring administrative support systems.
  • Experience in organizing and attending meetings and project coordination meetings.
  • Expertise in updating, verifying, and maintaining account and service listings, such as UPS CampusShip accounts.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DHS suitability determination and HSPD-12 PIV card.
