System Trainer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a System Trainer based in Canada.

This role is centered on enabling customer success through high-quality training design and delivery for complex business software applications. You will act as a key bridge between product development and end-user adoption, ensuring that customers and internal stakeholders are fully equipped to understand and leverage platform capabilities. The position involves designing, updating, and delivering engaging training programs across multiple formats, while continuously improving content in alignment with product evolution. You will collaborate closely with product teams, customer stakeholders, and internal experts to ensure training accuracy, relevance, and impact. Operating in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, you will manage end-to-end training cycles from content creation to delivery and feedback analysis. This is a highly collaborative role where your work directly influences user adoption, product understanding, and overall customer experience.

Accountabilities:

This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programs that support successful adoption of complex business software solutions.

  • Design, develop, and maintain engaging training content for both online and in-person delivery formats.
  • Deliver interactive training sessions and manage associated logistics including scheduling, coordination, and client communication.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine training materials to ensure alignment with product updates and user needs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure training readiness ahead of product releases and feature updates.
  • Serve as a primary contact for customers regarding training sessions, onboarding, and feedback collection.
  • Collaborate with product teams to align training content with roadmap developments and new feature rollouts.
  • Maintain high standards of instructional design, documentation, and content quality across all training materials.
  • Manage multiple concurrent training projects while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in systems training, instructional design, and customer-facing enablement within software or technology environments.

  • 5+ years of experience in systems training or software application training roles.
  • Experience delivering training programs within a product development or software lifecycle environment.
  • Strong instructional design skills, with the ability to create clear, structured, and engaging learning materials.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence delivering to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers across various levels.
  • Experience delivering both in-person and virtual interactive training sessions is highly valuable.
  • Familiarity with creating eLearning content or multimedia training materials is a plus.
  • Eligible and willing to obtain required security clearance if needed.
