About the role
Compensation : $22-$26/Based on experience
Key Responsibilities :
- Remove tree stumps, surface roots, and related debris.
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of stump grinders, trailers, trucks, and equipment.
- Identify underground hazards such as irrigation lines, utilities, landscape lighting, and drainage systems before beginning work.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding work scope and site conditions.
- Assist with tree removal, cleanup, and other field operations when needed.
- Accurately document completed work and report equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience operating stump grinders, skid steers, excavators, or similar equipment preferred.
- Experience in the tree care, landscaping, excavation, or construction industries is a plus.
- Ability to safely operate trucks and trailers.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Ability to identify potential job site hazards and work safely around utilities and irrigation systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
