The Director, Direct To Patient Channel Strategy and Partnerships will be responsible for designing the channel strategy, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring the successful execution of a patient-centered healthcare model. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and the ability to manage complex initiatives involving internal teams and external partners.
- Define and evolve the direct-to-patient channel strategy, including patient access pathways, digital experiences, telehealth integration, fulfillment models, and partner ecosystems.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic partnerships that support channel objectives and improve patient access and engagement.
- Develop operating models, governance structures, and strategic frameworks to enable scalable channel growth.
- Collaborate with commercial, medical, regulatory, legal, compliance, technology, analytics, and operational teams to ensure alignment and execution.
- Lead partner selection, negotiations, onboarding strategies, and ongoing relationship management.
- Translate patient and market insights into actionable strategies that improve conversion, adherence, and overall patient experience.
- Establish performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to monitor channel effectiveness and business impact.
- Drive launch readiness activities, including cross-functional planning, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership and influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners while fostering accountability and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in healthcare commercialization, digital health, patient access, or related strategic roles, with a strong ability to build innovative solutions in highly regulated environments.
- Doctorate degree with 4+ years of relevant commercial, digital health, operations, or marketing experience; or Master’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience designing and implementing direct-to-patient, direct-to-consumer, digital health, or healthcare access programs.
- Strong understanding of patient engagement models, telehealth solutions, fulfillment processes, and healthcare technology ecosystems.
- Experience managing strategic partnerships, vendor relationships, and complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to build operational models and launch new capabilities under accelerated timelines.
- Knowledge of healthcare access pathways, reimbursement environments, patient support programs, and compliance considerations.
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving accountability across organizations.
- Ability to translate business strategies into practical execution plans and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics, KPIs, and performance insights to guide decisions.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and high-visibility initiatives.
- Competitive annual salary range of approximately $195,880.80 – $265,015.20 USD, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and other factors.
