Finance Associate

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Finance Associate based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to support critical finance operations within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. As part of the revenue team, you will help ensure accurate billing, revenue processes, and financial data management while collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders. You will play an important role in improving operational efficiency by analyzing financial information, resolving billing challenges, and maintaining data accuracy across systems. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with numbers, and contributing to continuous process improvements. Accountabilities:

The Finance Associate will support revenue operations by managing key elements of the quote-to-cash process, maintaining billing accuracy, and helping resolve financial inquiries. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across the organization.

  • Support financial activities related to the quote-to-cash process for a global sales organization.
  • Review contracts, sales quotes, and account information to ensure accurate billing setup and revenue processing.
  • Maintain and improve data integrity within billing platforms and CRM systems.
  • Investigate and resolve internal billing questions, escalations, and process-related issues.
  • Assist with revenue close procedures by analyzing account activity and explaining significant month-over-month changes.
  • Perform reporting activities and ad-hoc financial analyses using data from multiple sources.
  • Manipulate and analyze data using Excel to support business decisions and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with teams including Billing Support, Sales, Renewals, and Finance leadership to streamline processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and contribute to positive operational changes.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an analytical and motivated finance professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working in a collaborative environment. They should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new systems and tools.

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, revenue operations, or a related field.
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze, organize, and manipulate financial data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated mindset with a willingness to take ownership of projects and responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Interest in improving processes and contributing to operational efficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience with Zuora or similar billing platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with PowerQuery, PowerBI, Salesforce, or Salesforce CPQ is a bonus.
