Job Description

Sr UI/UX Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr UI/UX Designer based in Canada.

As a Sr UI/UX Designer, you will shape intuitive, engaging digital experiences for products serving the iGaming industry. You will own key aspects of the design process, from user research and concept development to prototyping, testing, and refinement. The role combines creative thinking with data-driven decision-making to deliver experiences that are both visually compelling and highly usable. You will work closely with product and development teams to transform business requirements into effective digital solutions. Your expertise will help improve customer journeys, strengthen product experiences, and support innovative design initiatives. Accountabilities
  • Design intuitive, engaging, and user-centered interfaces that align with client brand identities and product objectives within the iGaming sector.
  • Research user behaviors, preferences, and needs to inform design decisions and create meaningful user experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional and visually compelling designs.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and other design deliverables to communicate concepts effectively and support product development.
  • Conduct usability testing, gather user and stakeholder feedback, and continuously iterate on designs to improve usability and overall experience.
  • Apply data-driven insights from analytics, experimentation, and user research to identify opportunities for product and UX improvements.
  • Monitor emerging UI/UX trends, design practices, technologies, and developments across the iGaming industry to introduce innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent academic background in IT, UI/UX Design, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong understanding of UX principles and user-centered design methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience designing digital products for the iGaming industry, with an in-depth understanding of its users and product environment.
  • Strong proficiency with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Miro, as well as prototyping tools such as Origami Studio, Noodl, Framer, Proto.io, or UXPin.
  • Experience applying data-driven design practices using tools and methods such as Google Analytics, A/B testing, and Hotjar.
  • Experience conducting and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative user research.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS and how design decisions translate into digital interfaces.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams and stakeholders at different levels.
  • Creative, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and a consistent ability to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn, experiment with new approaches, and continuously develop UI/UX knowledge and capabilities.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
