Shipping Warehouse Supervisor in Newark, New Jersey at Fabuwood Cabinetry Corp

Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM
Must be flexible and willing to work half days on Fridays and/or Sundays as needed

This is not a standard supervisory role—it requires a strong commitment to the department and its success. The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring continuous workflow, on-time truck departures, and effective leadership of the warehouse team.

Position Overview

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will oversee warehouse operations, specifically managing loaders and pickers to ensure all trucks are loaded and dispatched on time with no delays. This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate employees, maintain momentum throughout the shift, and step in proactively to resolve issues as they arise. Flexibility, humility, and strong people skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure there are no delays in picking or truck loading operations
• Oversee and lead loaders and pickers to maintain continuous workflow
• Confirm trucks are loaded, dispatched, and leave on schedule
• Monitor schedules and ensure adherence while adjusting as needed to meet operational demands
• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues to prevent disruptions
• Motivate employees through effective communication and relationship-building
• Remain available and responsive beyond scheduled hours when work is unfinished

Experience & Qualifications

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience required (warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required)
• Strong operations background preferred; shipping or logistics experience not mandatory
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable supervising at a larger operational scale
• Proactive problem-solver with strong decision-making skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required

Commitment Expectations

This role requires dedication beyond a traditional shift structure. If work remains unfinished at the end of the scheduled shift, the supervisor is expected to remain engaged until operations are complete. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and prepared to step in at a moment’s notice to support the department’s success.
