Society Insurance is seeking an experienced Claims Manager to join our Workers Compensation team. In this leadership role, you will provide direction, oversight, and support to a team of claims professionals while promoting consistent, effective claim handling and quality outcomes for policyholders, injured workers, agency partners, and the organization. You will also collaborate with internal business partners, identify opportunities to improve processes, support strategic claims initiatives, and help foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.

What it Will Take
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 10 years of experience in the direct handling of complex workers’ compensation claims in IL, IN, CO, MN, WI, or TX – OR – 14 years of experience in multi-line claims including the following: direct field claims losses, coverage analysis, litigation management, and substantial claims supervisory experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain proper licensing prior to handling a state where Society requires it.
- A proven record of exemplary performance in direct handling of losses and claims supervision.
- Recognized high-level designation (example: CPCU, AIC, CIC).
- Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Prior workers’ compensation claims handling experience in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, and Texas is highly desirable.
- Significant experience directly handling small, medium, and large workers’ compensation claim investigations, experience with litigated workers’ compensation claims is highly desirable.
