This role offers the opportunity to lead the zero-to-one development and long-term evolution of a critical client communications product area. You will own the roadmap for communications spanning filing updates, notifications, automated interactions, and key moments across the customer journey. Working closely with Engineering, Design, Operations, and business stakeholders, you will turn customer needs and strategic goals into scalable product experiences. The role combines product discovery, delivery, analytics, workflow design, and cross-functional leadership. You’ll help establish structure and clarity within an emerging product area while improving engagement, retention, and operational efficiency. - Own the Client Communications product roadmap from strategy through execution, translating company objectives and user needs into prioritized initiatives that improve engagement, retention, automation, and scalability.
- Lead product discovery and delivery in partnership with Engineering, Design, and Operations, taking ideas from initial concept through successful launch.
- Define detailed Epics and User Stories with clear scope, dependencies, requirements, and acceptance criteria to enable efficient engineering execution.
- Develop user journeys, process flows, and data flow diagrams for client communications, onboarding, and related customer experience touchpoints.
- Create wireframes and collaborate with Design teams to translate product concepts into intuitive, effective user experiences.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Service, and other business leaders to align communications initiatives with broader organizational objectives.
- Establish and maintain KPI dashboards to measure communication performance, client engagement, and overall customer experience health.
- Manage the product backlog, sprint readiness, prioritization, and delivery tracking using tools such as Jira.
- Communicate product progress, risks, dependencies, priorities, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify opportunities to mature the product area by establishing scalable processes, documentation, and roadmap clarity.
- 7+ years of product management experience, with a demonstrated history of owning and developing product areas from early-stage concepts through maturity.
- Strong ability to understand and manage detailed, complex product environments, ideally within regulated, compliance-driven, or other high-accuracy industries.
- Proven ability to translate business objectives and customer needs into actionable product requirements and a clear, prioritized roadmap.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Operations, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact products and features.
- Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, user journeys, wireframes, and other product documentation.
- Strong understanding of Agile product development methodologies and experience with tools such as Jira Software, Jira Product Discovery, or Linear.
- Data-driven mindset with experience developing and interpreting KPI dashboards to guide product decisions and roadmap priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex topics, progress, risks, and tradeoffs to stakeholders at different levels.
- Experience creating structure and foundational processes within an emerging or evolving product area.
- Strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
