Job Description
Summary
The Chaplain is responsible for the provision of spiritual support to patient's, families and caregivers, keeping within the patient/family/caregiver's desire and belief system.
Education
Must be the graduate of a college/university and or seminary with a Bachelor's degree in theology or divinity. Must have one quarter of Clinical Pastoral Education (or successful completion of one quarter within one year of employment or comparable experience).
Licensure/Certification
Must have a valid state driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance. Must be ordained or endorsed by his/her denomination.
Experience
Three years of pastoral/ministerial experience is essential.
Other Qualifications
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
