We are seeking an experienced Title Analyst to support large-scale renewable energy projects by ensuring land documentation, title requirements, and survey reviews are accurate and aligned with development and financing needs.
This role plays a key part in enabling successful project execution by identifying title risks, coordinating resolutions, and supporting investment readiness.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, legal, land, finance, and external partners such as title companies, lenders, and surveyors.
The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple project priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You will contribute directly to the growth of renewable energy initiatives by helping ensure projects have the necessary documentation and risk controls in place.
This is an opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to make an impact within a dynamic and mission-driven energy environment.

Accountabilities:

The Title Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and managing title, survey, and land documentation to support renewable energy project development and financing activities. The role requires close coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain accurate project records.

  • Review title commitments, title policies, proformas, site control agreements, easements, mortgages, and related land documentation for utility-scale energy projects.
  • Maintain detailed title tracking records, including title requirements, legal descriptions, parcel information, exceptions, curative actions, easements, restrictions, and documentation quality issues.
  • Prepare Title Status Reports highlighting key findings, risks, deficiencies, and financing considerations for project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, lenders, and consultants to resolve title issues and obtain acceptable documentation.
  • Review ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys to confirm compliance with investor, lender, and title insurance requirements.
  • Analyze easements, utility corridors, access rights, encroachments, and other land-related matters impacting project development and construction.
  • Support title curative processes by coordinating actions with landowners, utilities, lenders, and external partners.
  • Assist with mineral title reviews and documentation requirements related to project title policies.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates, issue tracking, and action plans.
  • Manage multiple projects and deliverables while maintaining accuracy, organization, and strong communication with stakeholders.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in title review, land documentation, and project coordination within renewable energy, infrastructure, real estate development, or related industries. They should be comfortable analyzing complex documentation, managing stakeholders, and supporting projects with significant financial and operational impact.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Land Management, Business, Engineering, Legal Studies, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience reviewing title commitments, title policies, land agreements, easements, surveys, and real estate documentation for energy, infrastructure, transmission, or large-scale development projects.
  • Experience coordinating with title companies, surveyors, lenders, consultants, and external project stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of title exceptions, mortgage restrictions, easement requirements, and curative solutions.
  • Experience reviewing ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and interpreting survey plats, legal descriptions, and title documents.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and document management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports, comment logs, and project updates.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy development, project finance processes, and title insurance requirements is highly valued.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation ranging from $55 to $70 per hour.
  • Six-month contract opportunity supporting impactful renewable energy projects.
  • Fully remote position.
  • Opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals across development, legal, land, finance, and project teams.
  • Exposure to large-scale renewable energy initiatives and complex project financing processes.
  • Opportunity to contribute to the transition toward cleaner, more accessible energy solutions.
